Today I went and hung out at Handworks! It is an arts and crafts fair at the Trade Mart in Jackson. I have been working with Rustic Creations by supplying the prints to go in their AWESOME frames for these shows. Shana and Jeff are the nicest people ever and their booth totally rocked! They cleared out frames and signs so fast that by the time I got up there they were almost sold out! Great job guys!!!

Today we went to Hardys Thanksgiving feast at school! We got to watch them sing some cute turkey songs and we all ate like crazy! Hardy had so much fun and is always so excited when we go to his school.
Food and entertainment

Hardy and his teachers!

and great decorations!!!!

His teachers are the best!!!
I will admit ~
When I first started shooting people, nothing scared me more than the family portrait!
I mean lets think about it -
1 stressed mom that has spent the previous 3 hours finding matching socks and making sure everyone keeps their clothes clean.
1 or more kids that are either exhausted and cranky from the previous 3 hours
and 1 Dad who usually doesnt see the point in taking the pics.
WELL…. turns out this is not what usually happens!!!! I have had a blast with every family I have shot and I hope they have enjoyed it too. Most of all I hope they look back at their photos and remember how their family felt during this time. I hope they can remember what it was like to have kids that age and to be able to think back on how important every member of the family played in their lives. Here are a few recent families I have shot…thank you guys for letting me capture these moments :)
