Yesterday was my birthday!

My sweet kids woke me up with a lovely picture that their daddy helped them make.   Later in the day I was treated with at least half a dozen mud pie birthday cakes ….

MMMMM  My favorite!!

Really, I have never seen so much love and time put into a birthday cake  :)

I had a session today with a little cutie! I shot this little guy for his 3 month pics and it was already time for his 6 month shoot! I always love it when people sign up for the first year package…..LOVE watching the babies grow!

North Mississippi Sessions!!!

This is a tad short notice, but I am setting the north Mississippi spring sessions to be March 9th - 16th!!

I would really like to try to get some of the shoots set up in downtown Hernando or some other cool locations! If you have any specific ideas then I am open to hear them!! On my last trip there I even shot one little boy at the fire station where his daddy worked! If you still prefer the lake pictures then that is fine too!

I am still requiring a deposit, but I lowered it to $40. This will be due at the time the appointment is scheduled (you will have a week to get it too me) and it will go towards a print credit.

There is also a $50 sitting fee due on the day of the shoot.

After this shoot my prices will be raising so get in on it this go around if you want to take part in these fabulous prices!

I was REALLY in the mood to shoot today! I asked my friend if she would grab her nephew and let me take some shots.

My friend is really interested in photography too, so I let her use my backup camera and we both shot away. Her nephew is the sweetest little thing. He has the most precious curls! It was really difficult to get a smile out of him, but thats ok….everyone knows I am a fan of the serious face as well :)

I did learn one thing…

I am not a fan of parks. I just have a problem getting “into” the shoot at a park. After trying and trying today we had to leave and go back to my favorite place to shoot :) I really like urban and rustic. The colors and textures that can come from a brick wall really get me excited! hehe

I have been in a very black and white mood lately too…
