Hello everyone! I finally decided to get this thing up and running so here is the first post.
I am Victoria Lewis (although most of you know me as Tori). I began photography almost 8 years ago. I went to Delta State University and studied graphic design and photography. I spent many fun and tiring hours in the darkroom trying to create that magic that I have envied many others create so easily. I consider school my “bootcamp” into photography. I will be honest though, I never would have considered doing portrait and childrens photography. I was actually way more into graphic design. I could just see myself at a top agency in NYC and spending my weekends with socialites….HA HA ….yeah right!
God had a different plan for my life though. He blessed my husband and I with 2 wonderful boys and they changed my view of photography over night. My boys have become my most photographed and least cooperative subjects. They decide when its time to take pictures at this point. If they arent in the mood then there is no reason to even try…hehe. They do love to go out to different locations and do photoshoots on occasion though. I cant explain the feeling I get looking through the camera and seeing a perfect little face that I am about to save forever. I treasure those pictures.
I am sure you will see these little faces many times on this blog, but here is the formal introduction.
